Waves and Wind
I have always understood the language of waves and wind on a deeper level. There are no words, but the sea teaches surrender, and the wind reminds me that nothing is meant to stay still forever. When my thoughts become tangled, I return to the shoreline, where the waves speak in repetitions, and the wind carries away all that I no longer need to hold. And βthough I cannot translate their wild, wordless dialect, something in me always listensβ something in me always understands.
Written for my prompt βthe language of waves and windβ.

Yes, this! I grew up near the Pacific and could sit on the shore for hours and write, and feel. This is beautiful. I love your prompts! Love, Virg
This perfectly captures why the ocean heals usβit doesn't ask us to explain our tangled thoughts, but instead uses its own wordless rhythm to gently wash away everything we were never meant to carry alone. Truly resonant Jo β¨
